- There is no known cure for dandruff.
- Antifungal shampoos – containing ketoconazole, ciclopirox, zinc pyrithione and selenium disulfide are effective in dandruff and seborrhoeic dermatitis.
- Application of topical steroids and shampoos, shampoos with coal-tar and keratolytic agents are also useful.
